The Water Environment Federation (WEF) is a not-for-profit technical and educational organization of 33,000 individual members and 75 affiliated Member Associations representing water quality professionals around the world. Since 1928, WEF and its members have protected public health and the environment. As a global water sector leader, our mission is to connect water professionals; enrich the expertise of water professionals; increase the awareness of the impact and value of water; and provide a platform for water sector innovation.

SWAN Smart Water Networks Forum

SWAN - The Smart Water Networks Forum, is a worldwide industry forum promoting the use of data technologies in water networks, making them smarter, more efficient and more sustainable. SWAN members vary from water utilities, technology providers, engineering and consulting firms, academics, and investors. By aligning industry leaders and participants, SWAN has the unique ability to share its members’ diverse experience, develop its own research, and help shape industry standards.

ICWT International Center for Water Technology

The International Center for Water Technology (ICWT) was established to provide education and research to assist in developing and adopting innovative solutions and technologies that improve water use efficiency. The program’s broad mandate includes water supply and quality; flood protection; and environmental enhancement. Activities focus on extended education, laboratory and field research, and policy development. Water is a finite resource. Responsible management requires the inclusion of all stakeholders to determine appropriate long-term use and allocation.

CEO Water Mandate

The CEO Water Mandate seeks to build an international movement of committed companies, both leaders and learners, interested in addressing the global water crisis. In this spirit, the initiative is open to companies of all sizes and industry sectors and from all parts of the world. Under water governance, it focuses on water stewardship in particular. The Water Hub

The Water Hub offers support to local communities in need and provide information for more efficient management of vital freshwater resources, in partnership between HSBC Water Programme and three NGOs – WWF, WaterAid and Earthwatch. The HSBC Water Programme aims to deliver water provision, protection, information and education across the world, enabling economies to prosper, supporting socio-economic development, and to share its findings and research with policymakers, NGOs and businesses worldwide.

 

UNICEF Innovation Labs

UNICEF Innovation Labs are open, collaborative incubation accelerators that bring business, universities, governments and civil society together to create sustainable solutions to the most pressing challenges facing children and youth. The Lab model creates opportunities for young people to team up with local leaders to develop creative and sustainable solutions.

 

Water Action Hub

The Water Action Hub is an online platform designed to assist stakeholders to efficiently identify potential collaborators and engage with them in water-related collective action to improve water management in regions of critical strategic interest. The Water Action Hub provides information on specific collective Action Areas that are of interest to different organizations at the global level or region level.
