Marks and Spencer: engage with the supply chain to reduce the negative impact on water resources of the company's operations

Marks & Spencer is one of the UK’s leading retailers offering clothing, foods and home products, sourced from around 2,000 suppliers globally. The company is conscious of the negative impact of its operations, especially regarding production and harvesting of raw materials within its supply chain. Regarding water resources, the company has recently produced guidance documents to help part of its supply chain (agricultural producers) to reduce water risk through good water stewardship and to improve water efficiency in selected locations.
