Advanced SMOS Products and Applications and Future Missions (MIDAS-7/UVEG)
A research project from the Spanish Programme on Space Research (Ministry for Economy and Competitiveness). The main objective is to assist in the validation of land data and products from ESA's Water Mission SMOS (Soil Moisture and Ocean Salinity), namely soil moisture and vegetation optical depth (at L-band) related to vegetation water content.
One of the objectives, significant in the EIP Water contesxt, is the Estimation of Surface Runoff in the Jucar River Basin from Rainfall Data and SMOS Soil Moisture, carried out by Julio A.
