"Water technology testing facilities" - WRc ETV

"Water technology testing facilities" - WRc ETV

New environmentally relevant innovations are frequently ignored by buyers and investors simply because they are new and unproven. The EU ETV scheme is new and aims to help suppliers of innovative technologies reach the market by providing independent verification of their claims.

The ETV  “Statement of Verification” can be used as evidence that the claims made about the innovation are both credible and scientifically sound. Manufacturers gain an independent, credible verification of their claims enabling them to promote their technology across the EU. End-users can be assured that the technology has been independently tested and performance claims that are made can be trusted.

WRc is an accredited verification body for technologies relevant to treatment and monitoring of water and waste water, and materials waste and resources. Through WRc ETV suppliers can gain credibility and investors and end users can minimise risks typically associated with new technologies.
