Porto workshop: Smart Water monitoring: low-cost sensors solutions for high efficiency water monitoring networks
During the EIP Annual Conference 2017 in Porto, the Ctrl+SWAN Action Group in collaboration with the H2020 Proteus project and the ICT4Water Cluster organized a dedicated workshop “Smart Water monitoring: low-cost sensors solutions for high efficiency water monitoring networks”. The workshop was a great success, with a lively interaction and very good presentations on the status of current R&D activities regarding innovative and low-cost sensors. Furthermore were explored a range of future applications developed by members in several projects. New methodologies, technologies, models, software and sensors for smart water network management, in terms of quality and quantity were presented. A discussion around the topic “from Water to Data” completed the discussion. The event included a networking break to allow interactions between Ctrl+Swan, H2020 Proteus and ICT4Water members and participants.
