Wetsus, European Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Water Technology
Wetsus is a centre of excellence for sustainable water technology and acts as a facilitating intermediary, which brings together European companies and Universities and coordinates its own public-private research programme for Water Technology.
Wetsus is the heart of the WaterCampus, located in Leeuwarden. The globally unique master programme in water technology is given here. BSc students from all over the EU are welcome to this multidisciplinary education programme.
On the WaterCampus there are many start-ups and solution providers. Through the WaterAlliance it is possible to find solutions for regional water challenges.
Companies are also welcome to use the existing pilot sites which are located within the vicinity of the WaterCampus. Pilots for drinking water, desalination, waste water and blue energy can be applied and analysed at these sites.
