The University of Cordoba is a young, mid-sized university with 21,000 students, more than 1200 teaching faculty and 700 employees is a dynamic institution, having successfully adapted to the 21st-century demand for excellence in teaching and proven scientific expertise. The fields of study and research covered at the University of Cordoba cover a wide range of sciences. However Food, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences play a main role in the university and are a distinctive characteristic of it, as it is proven by the recently selection of a consortium of 5 universities leaded by Cordoba’s one as a Campus of International Excellence in Agri-food Matters, by the Spanish government.
