Gruppo SIGLA is a private company in Genoa (Italy), composed of more than 70 highly skilled technicians with experience in the field of Information Technology, which designs and develops solutions for private and public business. Gruppo SIGLA cooperates mainly with large customers located in Genoa, in Liguria, elsewhere in Italy and abroad.
In a constantly evolving technological market, Gruppo SIGLA Ltd., included in the registry of the National Re-search MIUR, is engaged in intensive research and technology transfer for the development of innovative products and solutions through the Competence Center "Research & Development".
The Competence Center for Research & Development participates, along with industries and research centers in European countries, in Financed Projects (the European Union, Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of University and Research, Region of Liguria). The international context and themes of the projects in which Gruppo SIGLA Ltd. is involved, allow us to be up-to-dated in the evolving technology.

Project SEAGOSS: Information System for Alerting and Managing pollution from oil-Sliks and sediments. Project OvMeter (Osptreopsis oVata Meter): design and developing a monitoring system for toxic algae proliferation (Ostreopsis spp.) and design forecasting tool based on environmental physical-chemical parameters. (Programma triennale per la ricerca e l’innovazione: progetti integrati ad alta tecnologia. Ligurian District for Marine Technology [DLTM)]").
Project IMPAQUA: Design and development of a platform for monitoring and forecasting of environmental pollution resulting from the presence of plants in the sea. (POR Liguria ERDF 2007-2013 - Axis 1 Innovation and Competitiveness 2012; Call "Action 1.2.2 industrial research and experimental development in favor of companies in the Ligurian District for Marine Technologies [DLTM]").
SEAPOL Project: Creation of an innovative integrated system, historical and forecast, on the characterization of high-resolution wave, tidal levels of astronomical and meteorological (storm surge) in the Ligurian Sea. (POR Liguria ERDF 2007-2013 - Axis 1 Innovation and Competitiveness; Call "Action 1.2.2 industrial research and experimental development in favor of companies in the Ligurian District for Marine Technologies [DLTM]").
These are our competences in ICT applied to water monitoring and pollution forecasting, Furthermore, we have also competences in the implementation of DSS so as the design and development of mobile applications. From the ICT addressed to chemical point of view we have experience in the design and development/implementation of algorithm for the qualitative and quantitative analysis for chromatography (as you can see from the CHROMA project mentioned above).
