I manage the promotion and understanding of Decagon's equipment for soil water monitoring around the world. Decagon is a leading designer and manufacturer of soil moisture sensors and systems for monitoring soil-plant water relations. Decagon's sensors can be used to better map and understand the nature of water resources; where they are and how they are being used. By monitoring soil moisture through in-situ measurements, better irrigation decisions can be made, and more water can be conserved.

I obtained my PhD in Physics from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2004, with a dissertation on charge transport properties of ceramic semiconductors.

In January 2004 I moved to Australia where, as Research Associate at the School of Physics of the University of Sydney, I developed first-principles calculations of semiconductor properties.
