RTWQM - Real Time Water Quality Monitoring (AG100)

The main goal of the Real Time Water Quality Monitoring (RTWQM) Action Group is to foster solutions to water challenges based on online water quality monitoring technologies and affordable monitoring strategies.

The Real Time Water Quality Monitoring concept includes sensors and monitoring devices that measure water quality parameters (physical, chemical or biological) in real time or near real time (at a given frequency) and working in an autonomous way with very minimal maintenance requirements. In addition, the RTWQM concept also covers the retrieval, transmission, processing and validation of raw data, in order to convert them into useful information

Objectives:
1. To foster RTWQM techniques for operational applications in water bodies protection, drinking water, wastewater and water reuse, providing improved water management, resource efficiency and sanitary safety.
2. To share knowledge, by compiling available solutions, success cases and best practices
3. To add value to raw data, providing useful information for decision-making.
4. To identify market opportunities and address regulatory barriers
