The EPI-Water Guidance for the Design and Development of Economic Policy Instruments in European Water Policy is now available.

With the active involvement of SPADIS members from ACTeon (France), Ecologic (Germany), IMDEA (Spain) and the Uinversidad de Alcalá, among others, this guide compiles the best recommendations from the EPI-Water project (not EIP-Water this time!) for the design and implementation of enabling economic policy instruments to respond to the contemporary challenges of governing water in the European Union.

The Guidance biulds on the detailed analysis of 30 case studies in Europe (20) and beyond (10), and was presented and thoroughly discussed in Water Framework Directive (WFD) Common Implementation Strategy (CIS) Working Group in Economics.
